Classes of
Membership
There are three classes of Membership in the Association: Active, Associate
and Commercial.
 | Active Membership is on an individual
basis. This membership category requires that the applicant be actively
involved in the recruitment and/or retention of nurses and/or human resources
processes and employed by nursing schools or organizations which provide
direct health care such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, home care
agencies, HMO’s or the military. No individuals associated with supplemental
staffing, personnel placement agencies (search firms), foreign recruitment
agencies or travel nursing agencies are eligible for Active Membership.

| Associate Membership is on an
individual basis. This membership category is open to those individuals who
have previously recruited nurses for nursing schools or organizations and are
no longer employed in a capacity to directly influence the recruitment and
retention of nursing candidates and are interested in supporting the
activities of the Association. Associate Members are not eligible to vote or
hold any office in the Association. No individuals associated with
supplemental staffing, personnel placement agencies (search firms), foreign
recruitment agencies or travel nursing agencies are eligible for Associate
Member status.

| Commercial Membership is open to
publishing companies, advertising agencies, and other companies who
demonstrate a bona fide commercial interest in the recruitment and retention
of nurses and who are interested in supporting the development and growth of
the Association. Supplemental staffing, personnel placement agencies (search
firms), foreign recruitment agencies and travel nursing agencies are
ineligible for Commercial Membership. Commercial Members are not eligible to
vote or hold any office in the Association. In addition, Commercial Members
may not hold the position of Chairperson, however, may be designated to serve
on appropriate committees. This membership is allocated for a corporation
limited to a total of four representatives of that organization. |

Duration of
Membership
Membership is for a period of one (1) calendar year beginning in January.
